What platform do you use?

Answer

WordPress. It’s free and self-hosted. We’ve been building websites for over 20 years. We’ve seen several website page builders stop supporting sites and close their doors. We strongly believe in self-hosted websites where YOU own your website.

With other page builders, you’re “renting” your website space. If you don’t like their pricing, or they stop supporting the platform, then you’re facing a complete redesign, and your investment is long gone. Invest in a website that YOU own.

How long will my website take?

Timeline for the full custom web design package is 8 – 12 weeks.

Do you offer stock photos?

Answer

Yes, we do! Our branding and web design packages come with 10 stock photos each. We will guide you on how to select the best photography for your website.

The licenses for the photos do belong to us, which means you can’t repurpose the images in print or other means without purchasing the license yourself.

Will I have access to update my site after launch?

Answer

We train all our clients on how to edit their websites. You’ll have full access to your website to add pages, remove pages, update your menu, and edit existing pages.

We don’t believe in locking a client into their web designer. Of course, we are always here if you need to change something on your website. We also offer care plans that include monthly allotted hours for updates. Need more time? No worries, we’ll just bill the extra at our regular hourly rate.

Do you provide domains and hosting?

We sure do! We can register domains on your behalf as well as host your website. However, we only host websites we have built, and we require a care plan. If you want to register domains and host your website yourself, we can recommend great domain registrars and hosting companies.

Can I have an input in the design of my website?

Answer

Absolutely! Before our scheduled build day, we’ll kick things off with a strategy session to chat about your design and layout. Then, on the big day, we’ll reveal your design concept from our strategy session. And don’t sweat it—if you want to tweak anything, that’s your moment to shine and refine. We’re all about teaming up to make sure your website is 100% you.

How much does the website maintenance and care plan cost?

The investment starts at $99 a month.

Am I tied into a contract if I want to join the web maintenance plan?

There are no contracts – you’re free to leave at any time! We just ask that you give us 30 days notice before you cancel your plan.

Yes! Your website is just like your computer or mobile OS. You need to keep it up to date with the newest versions to free it from hackers and viruses and keep it running smoothly. On our care plans, we take care of updating your WordPress website, so you can focus on your business.
